Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in pencil on trace. Front view of dressing table and mirror is shown; plan of table top is also shown. Neoclassical-style toilet or dressing table has rectangular form with bowed front; narrow backsplash with concave corners; overhanging top; two sets of two shallow drawers with bail handles flanking shallow center drawer; carved ornament on center drawer; fluted stiles; square fluted legs with cuffs; and cylindrical feet. Rectangular mirror frame has arched pediment with carved fruit basket at top; molded rim; and two columnar supports with ovoid finials and carved acanthus leaves above rectangular blocks securing mirror supports to table. Design notes and "E. S. Webster" are handwritten on drawing.
