"Toilet Table"

Description

Design drawing titled "Toilet Table" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view of dressing table and mirror is shown. Neoclassical-style toilet or dressing table has rectangular form with concave front and ovolo corners; scroll brackets on top supporting a narrow rear shelf; overhanging top; one deep drawer with concave front and round pull on either side of shallow center panel; centr panel with carved, inlaid or painted scrolling motif and shaped apron; reeded stiles; carved turnings above reeded tapered round legs with cuffs; and cylindrical feet. Rectangular mirror frame has molded rim; arched crest with carved shell at center; and conforming base resting on table's recessed shelf. Title, "E. D. Adams" and "Cal" are handwritten on drawing.
