Empire-style toilet or dressing table has rectangular form with ovolo corners; overhanging top with molded edge; tall splashboard with recessed shelf with bowed center above supported by large carved scrolls at each end; case with two shallow drawers with bail handles on either side of shallow central panel; shaped skirt and central carved cartouche and garlands; columnar stiles with carved swags and garlands; and tapered reeded legs with foliate carving at top. Queen Anne-style rectangular mirror frame has curving crest with central carved shell and molded rim.
