"Toilet Table"

Description

Design drawing titled "Toilet Table" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front view of dressing table and attached mirror is shown; plan of table top is also shown. Toilet or dressing table has rectangular form; two shallow recessed drawers on top; overhanging top; one drawer on each side of shallow center drawer; round pulls on all drawers; and tapered square legs with brass cuffs. Rectangular satinwood mirror frame has gilt frame; molded edge; arched pediment with carved or inlaid shell motif; and urn finials. Mirror is attached to top drawers by two scrolled support arms. Title, design notes, "Mr. Hapgood," "#319" and "Cal" are handwritten on drawing.
