Design drawing titled "Mahogany Dining Table" rendered in pencil on trace. Side view is shown; plan of top is also shown. Round dining table has overhanging top; straight apron with molded rim; tapered columnar pedestal with stepped molding at bottom; cruciform base with concave sides; and large scrolled feet. Table extends to an oval with the addition of center leaves. Drawing also shows a side view of a tapered round leg with ring turnings, brass cuff and a caster; a pair of these legs are hinged at each end to be concealed behind apron when table is not extended to its maximum length. Title, design notes, "7752" and "For Miss. Howes 48729" are handwritten on drawing.
