Earthenware plate with scalloped rim and red transfer-printed pattern "Olympia." Print depicts two men on horseback and a third standing nearby, all dressed in traditional Greek military uniforms (Evzones). Behind the men is a large monument with urn and a gate topped with a striding buck. In the distance are sailing vessels on a waterway and mountains. The border consists of a chevron background with alternating small cartouches, depicting a sailing vessel, and large cartouches, with varying scenes of birds with fruit and urns.
