Description

Design drawing titled "Writing Desk Painted" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown; partial plan of interior is also provided. Desk has brass gallery railing on top of case; hinged slant-front with key escutcheon concealing an inner writing surface and pigeonholes; two lopers with round pulls; two drawers with key escutcheon and two bail handles on each; and four tapered square legs with brass feet Title, design notes, "For Thos. Nelson Page" and "Det Oct 22 -1904 H. E. C." are handwritten on drawing.
