Design drawing titled "Writing Table of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown; top plan is also provided. Rectangular writing table has overhanging top with molded edge; two drawers with bail handles on each side of shallow center drawer; retractable slide on each side above drawers; eight square stiles followed by legs with ovoid and trumpet turnings, rectangular blocks and bun feet; and lower shelf on each side. On top of writing table is a full-length recessed compartment of pigeonholes and drawers, topped by a shallow shelf. TItle, design notes, "7680" and "Geo. Eastman 48535 / without top compartments" are handwritten on drawing.
