Description

Design drawing titled "Mahogany and Inlay Writing Table" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown. Neoclassical-style writing desk has rectangular overhanging top with molded edge; apron with molded lower edge, two rows of inlay stringing and inlaid kylix and garland; columnar corners wth cross-hatch carved surface; and four tapered round legs with acanthus leaf carving at top and turned feet. On top of table is full-length recessed compartment of four drawers and eight pigeonholes of varying sizes with inlaid stringing. Title, "11241" and "C. C. Walker 49504" are handwritten on drawing.
