Neoclassical-style rectagular cylinder desk has flat top; frieze with inlaid or carved garlands and bellflowers; upper case with pigeonholes and other compartments; cylinder lid; sliding writing surface that extends as lid is opened; apron with inlaid or carved foliate motifs; and four tapered round legs with carved foliate motifs at top and above tapered feet. Title, design notes, "? Mrs. Norcross," "11907," and "Stock 12562" are handwritten on drawing.
