Neoclassical-style music chair has oval caned back with carved gadrooned rim; shoe with two carved scrolls supporting back and flanking a panel with carved urn and swags; round seat with carved apron; and four reeded round legs with ovoid turned feet. Seat may be raised or lowered. Title, design notes, "E. D. Adams 37964" and "Det. Oct 20 - 1900" are handwritten on drawing.
