Design drawing titled "Carved & Gilded Screen" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; side view of legs is also provided. Rococo Revival-style cheval screen has rectangular frame with ornately carved serpentine borders with scrolls and foliate motifs; crest rail with large central Prince of Wales feather motif flanked by elaborate scrolls; low cabriole legs with acanthus leaf and scroll carving; and scroll toe feet with pegs. Title, design notes, "for Mr. R. S. Gould N. Y. Order No 11157" and "11715" are handwritten on drawing.
