Design drawing titled "Dressing Table of French Walnut" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular dressing table has overhanging top with molded edge and projecting front corners; two banks of four drawers with bail handles; shallow center drawer with central carved shell and foliage motif above a recessed cupboard with two drawers; stiles with carved acanthus leaves and scrolling foliage; and cabriole legs with foliate carved knees, scrolling front brackets and scroll toe feet. Rectangular mirror frame has gentle serpentine curved top and bottom; reverse serpentine curved sides; carved scrolls; and carved shell and foliage motif at top. Mirror is secured to case at bottom with scrolling bracketed backboard. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
