Design drawing titled "Bureau" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular dresser has serpentine front with canted corners; overhanging top with molded edge; four drawers with bail handles in a two-over-two arrangement; key escutcheons on lower two drawers; stiles with carved acanthus leaves and scrolling foliage; and cabriole legs with foliate carved knees, scrolling front brackets and scroll toe feet. Rectangular mirror frame has gentle serpentine curved top; reverse serpentine curved sides and bottom; carved scrolls; and carved shell and foliage motif at top. Mirror is secured to case at bottom with scrolling bracketed backboard. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
