Design drawing titled "Bureau" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Rectangular bureau or dresser has front side with straight center section flanked by half-serpentine curved sections with canted corners; overhanging top with molded edge; scrolled backboard; four center drawers with curved handles and key escutcheons; one drawer and cupboard on each side; foliate carved stiles; carved ornament on top center drawer; carved molding on cupboard doors; and short carved cabriole legs with scroll toe and peg feet. Rectangular mirror frame has gently curved frame with carved central cartouche and foliage oat center top and is attached to backbaord at base. Title is handwritten on drawing. Stamped in lower left corner but partially cut off is "To be returned to / A. H. Davenport, / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
