Design drawing titled "Bureau of Mahogany and Brass" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular dresser has overhanging top with front ovolo corners, molded edge, and inlaid brass border; backboard with concave corners; four drawers with round brass pulls in a two-over-two arrangement; rectangular panel between two top drawers with applied brass garlands; brass key escutcheons on lower two drawers; straight skirt; round columnar front stiles with brass capitals; and tapered cylindrical brass feet with cuffs. Rectangular mirror frame has arched pediment and is attached to dresser by two round columnar supports with brass pineapple finials. Title is handwritten on drawing. Embossed on lower left corner but partially cut off is: "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
