Design drawing titled "Bureau of Mahogany and Gold" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular bureau has overhanging top; backboard with concave corners; five drawers with bail handles in a two-over-three arrangement; rectangular panel between two top drawers with fruit basket and garland decorations; skirt with central carved shell and scroll ornament; square fluted front stiles with carved blocks at bottom; and tapered carved feet. Rectangular wall mirror has arched pediment; protruding corners; and gilded carved molding and top foliate ornament. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
