"Bureau and Glass"

Description

Design drawing titled "Bureau and Glass" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view of bureau and wall mirror is shown; plan of top of bureau is also provided. Neoclassical-style bowfront bureau has overhanging top with molded edge; four drawers with bail handles; rectangular center panel on top drawer with inlaid kylix and quarterfans; key escutcheons on three lower drawers; straight skirt; and bracket feet. Queen Anne-style rectangular wall mirror frame has molded interior rim and projecting corners; crest with broken arch pediment, cut out scrolled ears, and pierced medallion with Prince of Wales feather motif; and shaped base with carved circular ornament. Title is handwritten on drawing.
