Design drawing titled "Bureau of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular bureau has upper recessed compartment with two shallow drawers with round rosette pulls in one tier; stiles with ring turnings; overhanging top with ovolo corners; and a narrow backboard. Lower case of bureau has overhanging top with ovolo corners; four drawers with round rosette pulls; columnar stiles with ovoid and ring turnings above reeded columns; straight skirt; and short legs with ring and ovoid turnings. Rectangular mirror is supported by two elongated carved vasiform arms with pineapple finials; arms attach to backboard of top compartment. Title and "Det. #12645" are handwritten on drawing.
