Design drawing titled "Bureau of Mahogany" rendered in ink on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top of bureau is also provided. Rectangular bureau has canted front corners; overhanging top with molded edge; backboard with concave corners; four drawers in a two-over-two arrangement; bail handles; key escutcheons on two lower drawers; canted stiles with carved ornamentation; shaped serpentine skirt with carved center scrolls; and rectangular carved block feet. Rectangular wall mirror frame has shaped arched crest; carved and gilded center shell and foliate garlands; and beaded interior molding. Title and design notes handwritten on drawing.
