Design drawing titled "Bureau of Mahogany" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Rectangular bureau has recessed rectangular upper compartment with three shallow drawers with round pulls arranged in one tier; narrow backboard extending partially on to sides; bowfront case; overhanging top with molded edge; three drawers in a graduated arrangement; round pulls on upper drawer and bail handles on lower drawers; square stiles; straight skirt; inlaid or painted ornamentation including bellflower and stringing on stiles and kylix and swags on upper drawer; and tapered square feet with cuffs. Oval mirror is attached to backboard by two tapered curved arms with ovoid finials. Title is handwritten on drawing.
