Design drawing titled "Bureau" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Bureau has projecting center front section flanked by concave curved areas; overhanging top with carved molded edge; shallow backboard; center section with five drawers in a three-over-two arrangement; round pulls on top drawers and bail handles on drawers below; stiles with carved twist moldings; cupboards in side areas, each with one hinged curved door; rectangular recessed panels on cupboard doors; straight skirt with molded rim; small carved and turned feet; and painted, carved or inlaid decoration including garlands and swags on cupboard doors and top drawer fronts. Oval mirror has narrow frame and is attached to bureau top by two tall columnar supports with turned pineapple finials. Three-candle sconce is mounted on each column. Title is handwritten on drawing.
