Untitled design drawing rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Rectangular bureau has overhanging top with molded edge; shallow backboard with concave corners; five drawers in a three-over-two arrangement; round pulls on top drawers and bail handles on lower drawers; straight skirt; square stiles; and tapered square feet with cuffs and casters. Oval mirror has narrow frame and is attached to backboard by two tapered square columnar supports with urn finials. Title, design notes, "Mr. Hapgood" and "Det. by R. B. Oct. 10 - 1905" are handwritten on drawing. R. B. refers to Robert Brown, a designer employed by A. H. Davenport Co. Embossed on lower left corner but partially cut off is: "Return To / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, MAss."
