Rectangular bureau has overhanging top with molded edge and front ovolo corners; backboard with concave ends; five drawers with bail handles in a two-over-three arrangement; rectangular plaque between two top drawers with carved basket of fruit; straight skirt; columnar front stiles with carved crosshatched motif at top and carved acanthus leaves, turned rings and cylinder at bottom; ovoid front feet wth cuffs; and simple bracket rear feet. Rectangular mirror with arched crest is attached to backboard by two tapered round columnar supports with turned finials and carved acanthus leaves at bottom. "Mrs. Mandell" and "11265" are handwritten on drawing.
