"Chest of Drawers of Mahogany"

Description

Design drawing titled "Chest of Drawers of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Rectangular bureau has overhanging top; four drawers, three of which have bail handles, bat-wing backplates and key escutcheons; top drawer with convex curved front; turned twist columnar stiles; straight skirt; short cabriole legs with paw feet in front and rear feet with turned ring and ovoid shape. Rectangular mirror with arched crest has narrow frame and is attached to top of bureau by two S- shaped arms. Title, design notes and "12137" are handwritten on drawing.
