Description

Design drawing titled "Chest of Drawers" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Bowfront chest of drawers has ovolo front corners and overhanging top with molded rim; shallow backboard; three shallow drawers with round pulls to right of a cupboard with one hinged door and tray drawers within; three drawers with bail handles below; key escutcheons on all drawers; fluted round columnar stiles with carved acanthus leaves at top; straight skirt; tapered round front feet and simple bracket rear feet. Oval mirror has narrow frame and is attached to backboard by two tapered fluted columns with carved finials. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing; title is partially cut off.
