Design drawing titled "Chest of Drawers Painted White and Decorated" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown. Rectangular chest has flat top with carved and molded cornice; painted klylix and swag on frieze; upper case with two hinged cupboard doors with recessed panels; painted garlands swags, cartouches and other motifs on door panels; lower case with molded upper lip; four drawers in a two-over-two arrangement; top drawers with round pulls and painted baskets and swags; bail handles and key escutcheons on lower drawers; square stiles wth painted bellflowers and stringing; and cuffed feet.Title, design notes, "For Mrs. E. D. Godfrey" and "195" are handwritten on drawing.
