Design drawing titled "Dining Chair of Mahogany" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Neoclassical-style Fancy side chair has straight crest; horizontal splat at top; horizontal splat at middle composed of rectangular tablet between paired scrolls; stiles which flare backward; saber legs; and painted or inlaid stringing on middle splat, stiles, front seat rail and front legs. An incomplete sketch on the side view shows an arm which curves into a scrolled arm support. Title, design notes, "For Mrs. P. C. Brooks" and "11571" are handwritten on drawing.
