Description

Design drawing titled "Arm Dining Chair of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Chippendale-style arm chair has shaped crest; pierced splat with Gothic tracery pattern; curved arms continuing into sharply angled arm supports; trapezoidal seat with over-the-rail upholstered seat and two rows of metal tacks along seat rails; square legs which are raked in back; H-stretchers and rear stretcher. Title and "11871" are handwritten on drawing. Companion side chair is CC010.001.006.009.003.
