Chippendale-style arm chair has serpentine crest with central carved shell; flared ears; pierced owl's-eye splat; molded stiles; curved arms with scrolled ears and curved arm supports; upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; straight seat rails; raked tapered square legs in rear; square front legs; and H-stretchers. Design notes, "Nov - 4- 1904 F. E. J." and "572" are handwritten on drawing.
