Neoclassical-style side chair has molded shield-shaped back with serpentine crest; pierced splat composed of five ribs with papyrus tops radiating upward from base; molded curved stiles; seat with serpentine front, over-the-rail upholstery, and a single row of metal tacks along lower edge; raked rectangular rear legs; and molded tapered square front legs with spade feet. "#44859" and "744" are handwritten on drawing.
