Rococo Revival-style side chair has back with rounded crest and concave sides; straight arms with scrolled handholds carved with acanthus leaves; curved arm supports; seat with serpentine front; raked rear legs; cabriole front legs with scrolled feet; and carved ornamentation including acanthus leaves, shells and bellflowers on arm supports and leg knees and foliage on feet. Upholstered back and arm pads with single row of metal tacks around perimeter; seat has over-the-rail upholstery with metal tack trim along edges.
