Neoclassical-style arm chair has rectangular crest with rolled top and scrolled ends; open X-shaped splat with central rosette below crest; lower rail composed of two thin slats joined by three small carved motfs; molded arms flowing from stiles with scrollled handholds; arm supports with reeded vasiform turnings; leather upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; straight seat rails with molded corner blocks in front; raked tapered square rear legs; and fluted tapered round front legs with turned feet. Title, design notes and "1193" are handwritten on drawing.
