Design drawing titled "Side Chair (of Mahogany)" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Chippendale-style side chair has shaped crest rail with carved foliage and rosettes; flared ears; pierced splat with circular wreath pattern in middle; molded stiles; upholstered slipseat; straight seat rails with gadrooned molding at bottom of front rail; raked rear legs; and cabriole front legs with foliate-carved knees and ball-and-claw feet. Title and "#12593" are handwritten on drawing.
