Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown. Neoclassical-style side chair has rectangular crest with carved or inlaid swags; pierced splat composed of two molded curved ribs joined at the middle by a carved rosette and reeded lower horizontal rail; straight rectangular reeded stiles; seat with over-the-rail upholstery and single row of metal tacks long bottom edge; raked tapered square rear legs; reeded taper columnar legs in front with ring turnings above; and tapered ovoidl feet. A note referencing a coordinating sofa and "2201" are handwritten on drawing.
