Chippendale-style arm chair has shaped crest rail and scrolled ears with extensive foliate carving; pierced splat with four flaring stiles with small carved rosettes joining the ribs at the middle; shaped stiles; arms with scrolled handholds and curved arrm supports with carved acanthus leaves; seat with over-the-rails upholstery and single row of metal tacks along the bottom edge; raked rear legs; and cabriole front legs with shell and foliate carved knees and large paw feet. "3439" is handwritten on drawing. Companion side chair is CC010.001.006.029.001.
