Neoclassical-style arm chair has shield-shaped back with serpentine crest and carved foliate motifs at top of sides; pierced splat with urn flanked by two ribs forming a lyre-shape and a rosette-carved block below; curved stiles; curved arms with continuous arm supports and carved corner blocks below; seat with over-the-rail upholstery and single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; raked rear legs; and tapered reeded round front legs with foliate carvings at top and small ovoid feet. Companion side chair is CC010.001.006.038.005.
