Design drawing titled "Chair" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Side chair has rectangular caned back with straight stiles, crest rail and lower rail; upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; straight seat rails with front corner blocks; raked tapered square rear legs; reeded tapered round legs with carved tops; and tapered cylindrical feet. Ornamentation includes carved and gilded bowknot atop crest rail, carved twisted rope molding around caned back, and carved or inlaid rosettes on seat rail corner blocks. Design notes are handwritten on drawing.
