William and Mary-style arm chair has caned back; carved stepped and arched crest rail; conforming bottom rail; molded straight stiles; loose seat cushion; straight seat rails; curved molded arms with scrolled handholds; arm supports extending into front legs with ovoid, trumpet and rectangular block turnings and paw feet; raked rear legs with cylinder and rectangular block turnings; turned rear and side stretchers; and ornately carved and scrolled front stretcher. Title and "Melrsoe Public Library" are handwritten on drawing.
