Neoclassical-style side chair has rectangular molded crest which rolls back at top with scrolled ends; lower rail with two narrow slats joined in middle by rosette-carved rectangular plaque and two foliate motifs; molded curvilinear stiles flowing into raked rear legs; upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; narrow molded seat rails with rounded front corner blocks carved with rosettes; tapered round reeded front legs; and tapered cylindrical feet wth cuffs. "763" is handwritten on drawing.
