Side chair has rectangular caned back with carved crest rail, lower rail and stiles surrounding caning; carved ornament at center of crest rail; fluted straight stiles below caning; caned horseshoe-shaped seat with molded wood frame; straight seat rails with carved edges and rosette-carved blocks above front legs; raked tapered rear legs; tapered reeded round front legs with plain turned portion at top; and cuffed tapered cylindrical feet. "1333" is handwritten on drawing.
