Easy chair has serpentine crest rail with carved shell and foliage ornament at center and carved foliage at ends; high flaring arms with curved arm supports ending in foliate-carved scrolls at top and rectangular blocks with carved acanthus leaves at bottom; molded straight seat rail with large scrolled foliate motif at center; raked rear legs; tapered square front legs with carved bellflowers and block feet; and upholstered back, arms and seat. "767 ?" is handwritten on drawing.
