Design drawing titled "Bergere" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Chair has tall curved back; shaped wings; gently arched crest rail with carved foliate motifs at center continuing along wings and into arms; arms with carved acanthus leaves and scrolled handholds; curved molded arm supports; seat rails with serpentine lower edges ancd carved decoration including volutes and foliage; cabriole legs with carved bellflowers and foliage; and scrolled toe and peg feet. Fully upholstered back, sides, arms, seat and loose seat cushion; arms also have upholstered pads. Title is handwritten on drawing but is partially cut off.
