Design drawing titled "Chair in Drawing Room (All Gold)" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Arm chair has curved crest rail; lower rail with serpentine bottom edge; shaped arms with scrolled hand holds; shaped arm supports; upholstered seat with curved back; straight seat rails on back and sides and with serpentine bottom edge in front; molded cabriole legs with scrolled toe and peg feet; and upholstered back, arm pads and seat. Extensive carving over chair includes: carved bowknot and foliage motif at top of crest rail; carved moldings and scrolling foliage on crest and lower rails, stiles, arm supports and seat rails; scrolled ends on arms; and foliage on cabriole knees. Title is handwritted on drawing; first word is cut off but may be "Alternative."
