Neoclassical-style arm chair has rectangular crest rail with rounded ends and enlarged rectangular center tablet; splat composed of three narrow ribs with large diamond shape at center of middle rib; straight lower back rail; straight stiles with curved arms and continuous curved arm supports flowing from top of stiles; upholstered seat; straight seat rails with shaped ends of lower edge; raked tapered rear legs; and tapered square front legs with cuffed feet. Painted or inlaid decoration on crest rail, splat and seat rail; rails, stiles, and legs are either molded or have painted or inlaid stringing. "1003" is handwritten on drawing.
