Design drawing titled "Chair "A"" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Neoclassical-style arm chair has molded heart-shaped back with molded teardrop-shaped ribs rising from lunette at base; flat curved arms with continuous curved arm supports; seat with serpentine front, over-the-rail upholstery, and single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; square corner blocks above front legs with carved oval patterns; tapered square front legs with cuffs amd tapered cylindrical feet; and raked rear legs. Extensive decoration that may be carved, inlaid or painted on back and front legs includes shells, bellflowers and other foliate motifs. Title is handwritten on drawing.
