Arm chair has slanting caned back; flared rectangular crest rail with painted or inlaid panels and circular medallion; curvilinear stiles which flare outward at top and flow into arms, seat rails and rear legs; arms terminating at seat rail in large C-shaped curve; upholstered seat; raked square rear legs; reeded tapered round front legs with hourglass turning at top; and casters on front legs only. "C. M. Hinkle / 47784" and "3711" are handwritten on drawing.
