William and Mary-style arm chair has crest rail with carved scrolls and foliage; stiles with vasiform, ring and block turnings; oval caned back; carved scrolled lower rail; upholstered slip seat; turned cylindrical rear legs with scrolled block feet; cabriole front legs with scrolled block feet; X-stretcher with carved scrolled ends; and carved scrolled front stretcher. Extensive carved ornamentation on all surfaces. Title and "Det. #11669" are handwritten on drawing.
