Swivel arm chair has curved back; molded rounded crest rail and continuous shaped arms with carved scrolled handholds; shaped curved arm supports with foliate carving at base; upholstered back, sides, arm pads, and seat with serpentine front; single row of metal tacks along upholstered edges; molded straight seat rails; pillar with swivel mechanism atop four low curved legs with brass caps and casters; and carved scrolls at top of legs. "Mrs. C. B. Alexander / 46949" and "372 / 1208" are handwritten on drawing. .
