Neoclassical-style arm chair has rectangular crest rail with applied brass palmettes and scrolls; rectangular gilded caned back; narrow straight lower back rail; rectangular stiles with scrolled ends at top flowing into curved arms; continuous arm supports with carved and fluted cylinder turnings; upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along lower edge; straight seat rails; columnar front corner blocks with Ionic scrolls and palmettes; rear tapered square legs extending from stiles; and tapered round columnar front legs with cuffed cylindrical feet. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
